Michael J. Thompson of Willcox passed away in Phoenix on October 19, 2021, at the age of 61. He was born in Prescott, Arizona on July 10, 1960, to Jerome Joseph Thompson and Elizabeth Jane (nee Schaefer) Thompson. Mike was a lifelong farmer and owned and operated T & T Farms. He was a member of the Willcox Elks Lodge #2131. On February 17, 1979, in Willcox he married his wife Dawna who survives him. He is also survived by his sons Shaun (Jena) and Kayl (April) and his loving grandchildren Katelyn, Nataly, Ethan, Brycen and Ashlynn. His mother Betty Thompson and his siblings Cheryl Moss, Kimberly (Brent) Haas, Terri (Dean) Harguess and Steve (Kim) Thompson also survive him, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father Jerome and his nephew JJ Moss. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30,2021 at the Willcox Elks Lodge with food following at the Lodge.
