Jose "Nacho" Ignacio Ramirez

Jose “Nacho” Ramirez of Willcox passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born in Villa Hidalgo, Sonora, Mexico on May 4, 1947, to Jesus Maria Ramirez and Lorenza Valdez. Nacho was a hard worker, working in the fields and taught numerous young people about the work in the fields to enhance the production of farm. Survivors include his children Damek Ramirez of Tucson, Draven Ramirez of Willcox, Celeste Ramirez and Anthony Ramirez both of Tucson. His surviving siblings are Jesus Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez, and Gloria Ramirez all of Mexico along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his parents and his wife Angelina “Angie” Ramirez on November 14, 2015. Viewing will be on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 10:00 am until noon with funeral services to follow until 2:00 pm at Westlawn Chapel. Graveside Services will be at noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Sunset Cemetery. Family and Friends may gather at Westlawn Chapel starting at 10:00 am until 11:45 am when the procession to the cemetery will begin.
