Gloria Marie Kerchum was born 15 November 1928 in Douglas, Arizona. She passed away on 21 December 2019, after an 11 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Her marriage to her beloved husband Paul lasted for 73 years. She was preceded in death by their son, Paul. She is survived by her husband Paul, her daughter Paula & Ron Desmarais , her sisters Sharon (Tim) Walsh, her brother Harry (Ingrid) and her sister Edna Whitehorn, Many nieces and nephews and 5 grandchildren and 21 grandchildren, and 1 great grand-daughter. She loved each of them dearly and loved to spend time with them. We never heard Gloria say a disparaging word about anyone. She was strong in her Catholic Faith. If you came to her with a problem, she always said, “ have you prayed about it?” .Her funeral service was held at Our Lady of Lourdes, in Benson, Arizona on December 27, 2019. Her burial was at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista.
