Araceli "Sali" Carney

June 2, 1942 - November 20, 2020

Araceli " Sali" Carney of Willcox passed away in Tucson on November 20, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born in Ormoc City, Philliphines on June 2, 1942 to Rodrigo Verano and Trifonia ( Cabacoy) Verano. Sali loved her flowers and was always busy. Sali loved to sing karakoe and loved being a grandmother. Sali always wore high heels, and was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Sunsites. On October 15, 2011 Sali married Joseph Kielas who survives her. Surviving children are: Rebecca V. Laguitan, of the Philippines , Bernadette Valenzuela of Willcox, Bridget (Gordon) Fecyk of Greenbay, Wisconsin , Becky ( Damon) King of Willcox , Michelle Sack, Trixie (Tyrone) King, and Andrew Sack all of Phoenix, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and step daughter Bonnie Kielas and granddaughter Regina Manguiat. A rosary will be offered at 10:00 am on Saturday November 28, 2020 at St.Judes in Sunsites. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Saturday November 28, 2020 at St. Judes in Sunsites. Interment of her cremains will be in the Philippines. A memorial will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday November 28,2020 at the family home.
