In Loving Memory of Donna Lee Tryon November 4, 1947 – July 20, 2026 It is with profound sadness, but also with grateful hearts, that we celebrate the life of Donna Lee Tryon, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose greatest accomplishment and greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to caring for others, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Her kindness, strength, unwavering work ethic, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her. Donna was born in Mesa, Arizona, and throughout her life also called Idaho, Hyder, Arizona, and Willcox, Arizona home. She worked at Safeway in Willcox, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit. She was married to John Tryon, and although they later divorced, together they raised a family that became the center of Donna’s world. Donna had many gifts and talents. She loved woodworking, making beautiful crafts, and was an exceptionally precise quilter. There wasn’t much she couldn’t sew, and many of her creations will continue to be treasured by those she loved. She found peace in the sound of the rain, enjoyed spending time playing card games with family and friends, and found happiness in life’s simple moments. More than anything else, Donna loved her family. She celebrated every milestone, treasured every gathering, and made each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren feel deeply loved. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, hard work, and selfless devotion. Donna is lovingly survived by her children: Cindy Pedersen and husband Jim Pedersen Randy Tryon and wife Shannon Tryon Tammy Valdez She was a proud grandmother to: ● Abbie Miles ● Clinton Kelland ● Curtis Kelland and wife Ashley Kelland ● Travis Pedersen ● Kayla Tryon ● Johnny Tryon ● RJ Valdez ● Beatrice Valdez ● Jeremiah Valdez ● Ezekiel Valdez She was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren: Jaiden Orosco, Hailey Orosco, Bryanna Crawford, Noah Johnson, Madisyn Kelland, Cash Kelland, Sawyer Kelland, Gunnar Kelland, Kaia McCloskey, and Lincoln Valdez. Donna was further blessed with one treasured great-great-grandchild. Kai Orosco. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that the love she gave so freely will live on through every generation of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, perseverance, creativity, and unconditional love that will never be forgotten.
