Darlene Seggerman Smythe Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Pearce, Arizona. Darlene grew up with a passion for life, learning, and service to others. She spent her early years in Colorado and then most of her adulthood in New Mexico before settling in southeastern Arizona, where she made a lasting impact on the community. Darlene was known for her intelligence, kindness, and a tireless spirit that she brought into everything she did, from her work and her friendships to her fierce dedication to family. Darlene was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, providing strength, purpose, and a deep sense of service to others. She embodied the principles of her faith through quiet acts of compassion, integrity, and humility. She was a devoted mother to her children, who were the lights of her life. Darlene was also a proud grandmother and a cherished member of her extended family, always ready with a listening ear, or words of wisdom. Darlene is survived by her three daughters, three sons, five grandchildren, brother, niece, nephews, cousins, her beloved dogs, and countless friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents and other beloved family members. We will celebrate her life on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Westlawn Chapel and Mortuary in Willcox, Arizona. A welcome gathering with light food and drinks begins at 12:00pm, with the memorial service to follow at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Pearce Cemetery around 2:00 or 2:30pm.
