Albert Charles Noland

Albert Charles Noland of San Simon died in Tucson on November 9, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born in Douglas, Arizona on March 27, 1930 to Albert Franklin Noland, Sr. and Artie Era (Ray) Noland. Albert was a lifelong Rancher, served in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion , Arizona Cattle Growers Assoc, honorary member of the Arizona County Attorney's and Sheriff Assoc, and the AQHA. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Albert also was an avid lion hunter and wrote articles in the Full Cry Hunting Magazine. He is survived by his daughters; Jacqueline Noland and Charlene Noland both of San Simon and their mother and Albert's former wife Jaxon Sandlin Stallard of Boston, Massachusetts. Preceded in death by his grandson Travis Wesley Noland on November 16, 2016 ,survived by his great grandson Dustin Cash Sandlin Noland of Morenci, Arizona. Albert had 12 brothers and sisters; Frances Lawshe ( deceased) , William Van Noland (deceased), Theresa Myers (deceased), Naomi Taylor (deceased), Alpha Ansley (deceased) Beve Franklin Noland (deceased), surviving are Wilma Noland and Earl (Maydell) Noland both San Simon, A.F. (Joyce) Noland, Jr. of Eagle Creek, Arizona, Lonnie (Nancy) Noland of Willcox, Sharon (Len) Noland of Phoenix and Eleanor (Jerry) Bishop of Safford. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Willcox Chapel with viewing from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at the church. Luncheon will follow at the church. Graveside Military honors will be at 2:30 pm at the Noland Ranch Cemetery.
